better late than never!

Hi Wayne,

Welcome to the web! We're always happy to see new players. When I first logged on, some 17 years ago, it was a different scene. Thanks for "discovering" it at last.

Word of advice, stop using phrases like "Your neighborhood has changed. It is now a world community right at your fingertips. It is called the Net." That's very 1990. It makes you sound extremely naive. We've been here for a while - don't try to sell us on the Internet. We already "get it".

Promotional Campaign for camerafinder.com

As part of my advertising campaign I selected this powerful 1940s Real Photo postcard of a child holding an American flag. The American flag symbolise the Icon of freedom and everyone trusts children. Freedom and Trust - my gold standard of collecting for over 30 years. Please join our community of friends, express your thoughts here on TheBlog, even sell an item or two, you are welcome to add your collection to our Museum and share your expertise.

Blog Freedom of Expression

CAMERAFINDER.COM WELCOMES YOU TO A NEW FORM OF FREEDOM AND EXPRESSION. YOU MAY USE PHOTOS HERE ALSO.

Your future!

Your future. Our Vision.

Your neighbor is no longer next door or across the street. Your neighborhood has changed. It is now a world community right at your fingertips. It is called the Net.

This exciting medium does not care whether you are a beginner or a 30-year experienced collector. No one has a title here. Just your name and the desire to become a team player.

This high-speed technology is ever changing the once popular camera and image clubs that produced the majority of selling shows. The dealers have turned to the Net and the tradition of hands-on inventory is limited. Stocking up on merchandise is no longer practical since camera & image prices fluctuate more than the price of crude oil.

What now?

The Net has created a technology explosion. Experts often suggest silver film is out and digital is in. Camera and Image collecting for the past quarter Century has changed with the technology. Meanwhile, just keeping abreast of change has become more difficult for first-time buyers and experienced buyers alike.
